Bookings

The garden is now closed for the season – with the exception of Advent and Snowdrops, see below for details.

We will reopen for the 2024 season on Tuesday 2 April.

Private visits from groups (6+) are welcome by prior arrangement. Please call 01432 805454 to discuss your visit.

Admission includes a beautifully illustrated plan and the use of an audio guide narrated by Sir Roy Strong CH.

Please be aware that The Laskett’s uneven surfaces, grassed areas, narrow paths and gravel walkways make it unsuitable for wheelchair access, but work is underway to make it more accessible. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow dogs or any other pets, apart from assistance dogs.

Given that it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to fully enjoy the gardens we suggest a morning or afternoon visit which will work well if you are planning lunch nearby. You can choose your visiting time on the booking form using the below link.

Advent at The Laskett

2, 3, 9 and 10 December | Saturday and Sunday | 2:30pm or 5pm

There is something magical about outdoor events during the winter months. Gardens are often described as places of hope, peace, joy and love, so Advent at The Laskett, could be a perfect way to spend time with friends and family this December. You can join Perennial, the charity helping people in horticulture, at this remarkable autobiographical garden of the arts in Herefordshire on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th December at 2:30pm and 5pm. Sample home-grown apple juice from the orchard, mulled wine and mince pies, plus enjoy some seasonal shopping at their plant and bulb sale.

Please note

the lighting is for decorative purposes only, we therefore advise you bring a torch to help guide you through the fabulous garden.

Snowdrops at The Laskett

17, 18, 24, 25 February | Saturday and Sunday | 10:30am or 2:30pm

The collection of snowdrops at The Laskett was originally created by Julia Trevelyn Oman, the late wife of Sir Roy Strong. Vastly expanded and naturalised the collection is enchanting. The snowdrops bring a sense of purity and tranquillity to the garden at this time of year. The formal gardens and topiary really show well. The snowdrop display in the colonnade court adds an extra dimension to this unique experience.
