Visiting

As Sir Roy has always said, a garden is an ever-evolving creation – like a painting that is never finished. From the bare field of forty plus years ago to what can be seen today – like the man himself – The Laskett never stands still for long. Recent additions to the gardens include two very fine, specially commissioned mosaics by Olicana Mosaics and the magnificent Belvedere from which the whole extent of the gardens can be viewed on high. Whether you have visited the gardens before or this is to be your first time, there is much to see and inspire.

There is no right or wrong way to go round the gardens, each visitor will have their own beautifully illustrated plan by Neil Gower to help them decide where to go and we also provide an incredibly easy to use (it really is, we promise!) audio guide. We suggest you allow about 1.5 to 2 hours for your visit.

Award Winning Audio Tour

The Laskett was one of the first gardens in the country to offer one and this enables everyone to enjoy exploring the gardens at their own pace dipping in and out as they go listening to the very personal story of the creation & evolution of the gardens as told by Sir Roy himself.
